with French Valley Flyers

At French Valley Flyers, we do flight training a little differently. We’re not a traditional flight school—we’re a hub for independent, FAA-approved Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) who are passionate about flying and teaching. Each instructor operates as a private contractor, not an employee, which means more flexibility, more personalized instruction, and a learning experience that truly revolves around you.

Our CFIs aren’t here to clock hours—they’re here because they love what they do. As independent professionals, they bring their own flying backgrounds, teaching styles, and schedules to the table. Whether you’re training full-time or just getting started on weekends, you’ll find someone whose approach fits your goals.

Every instructor approved to teach through French Valley Flyers undergoes a rigorous screening process, maintains a strong safety record, and completes ongoing recurrent training. That way, you get the best of both worlds: the freedom to choose your own instructor and the confidence that you’re learning from someone qualified, capable, and committed.

*All instructors providing services through FVF are independent contractors and not employees of the organization. Instructional rates are established independently, reflecting industry standards along with the instructor’s individual qualifications and certifications. FVF does not receive any portion of the fees collected for instruction.
